Recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainees (EET) – 2024 through GATE-2024
NTPC Limited, India’s largest power conglomerate, has an installed capacity of 76,733 MW and is aiming to achieve 130 GW of total installed capacity by 2032. To support its growth plans, NTPC is seeking dedicated, energetic, and talented Graduate Engineers to join the organization as Engineering Executive Trainees (EET) – 2024 in the following disciplines:
- Electrical Engineering – 135 vacancies
- Mechanical Engineering – 180 vacancies
- Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering – 85 vacancies
- Mining Engineering – 25 vacancies
- Civil Engineering – 50 vacancies
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with a minimum of 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates), as per the respective university/institute norms. Additionally, candidates must have appeared for GATE-2024 in the relevant discipline.
Discipline-wise Accepted Degrees:
- Electrical Engineering: Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Power Systems & High Voltage, Power Electronics
- Mechanical Engineering: Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Production & Industrial Engineering, Thermal, Mechanical & Automation, Power Engineering
- Electronics Engineering: Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Power, Power Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics
- Instrumentation Engineering: Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics Instrumentation & Control
- Civil Engineering: Civil, Construction Engineering
- Mining Engineering: Mining
Age Limit:
The upper age limit is 27 years as of the last date of the online application. Age relaxation will be provided for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government guidelines.
Selection Process
- Candidates must have appeared for GATE-2024 and qualified in the exam.
- Shortlisting for document verification will be based on GATE-2024 scores and organizational requirements.
- Only candidates who apply through this advertisement and meet the eligibility criteria will be considered.
- Selected candidates will receive an Offer of Appointment, subject to fulfilling all eligibility requirements.
- Note: Only GATE-2024 marks will be valid for this recruitment.
